A must-go restaurant when you visit Sapporo!

Highly rated at 3.5 points on the website called tabe log.
According to sanokuni’s review on the website
・Raw or grilled oysters from Akkeshi: 150 yen (1 oyster)
・Oyster stout: 900 yen
・Ezo Beer (IPA) – very bitter beer – 800 yen
This izakaya is popular for its oysters from Akeshi, Hokkaido, which are only 150 yen each. Located a 3-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Subway Namboku Line, this cozy restaurant is tucked away in a narrow alleyway off the side street of a popular ramen restaurant in the Susukino area called “Keyaki.

It used to be a small store with really only 5 tsubo (16.55 square meters) facing Minami 6 Jo Street and mainly operated as an outdoor standing restaurant, but it has now moved to a narrow alleyway store between buildings about 100 meters away from the old store.
Six years ago, the price was 105 yen per piece, but now it is 150 yen. Even so, if you order oysters at an izakaya or oyster bar in Tokyo, they cost 300 to 400 yen each, no matter how cheap, so it is still a great deal. Currently, there are four stores in Sapporo, as well as stores in Roppongi, Kudanshita, and Ikebukuro in Tokyo, and it seems that the restaurant is expanding into a wide variety of locations.
The Susukino restaurant has 6 seats at the counter and 8 seats at tables (2 tables for 4 people and 1 table for 2 people).
Oyster Stout is a black beer with oyster extract added and seems to have originated in England in the 19th to early 20th century. At that time, the combination of oyster and stout was favored, so a beer mixing them was invented. The taste has the richness and bitterness of black beer, followed by a unique flavor slightly like oyster sauce.
According to one theory, Tabasco was developed for use with raw oysters. In the state of Louisiana in the United States, where Tabasco originated, raw oysters are popular, and Tabasco is often used in local oyster bars, and raw oysters were depicted on Tabasco advertising posters.
Grilled oysters are strangely more salty than raw oysters. Raw oysters taste better with lemon or Tabasco, but grilled oysters are best eaten without any sauce.
I recommend this restaurant whenever I feel a little hungry after a night of drinking in Susukino!
